Malapascua Island

。

Malapascua Island, a Philippine island situated in the Visayan Sea, 6.8 kilometers (4.2 mi)across a shallow strait from the northernmost tip of Cebu Island. It’s called as the mini Boracay of Cebu.I had heard this island featured not just once. I had craved of going to this place. I know you’re reading my blog because you’ve heard of its awesomeness and you wanted to know if it’s true. right?

Let me start with this…

Ride a bus at (Cebu North bus terminal) going to Maya around 2 am.  Bus: PHP 163.00 (non-aircon) and PHP 200.00 (aircon). You’d arrive 5:00-6:00 AM at Maya.

B-E-A-U-TIFUL. isn’t ? Yes, Yes, I too was mesmerized. This view didn’t need an overly priced camera.

Why am I sharing this even when it’s still not in Malapascua. In order to go to Malapascua you have to ride a boat. Most of the boat caters passengers at 7:00 AM but why not go earlier when you have this beautiful sunrise to start your day right.

Present port, 2016 

They organized the port area from the  tree-view-sunrise-facing area where the boats were all parked everywhere to this one. I like this more! Cost PHP 100.00/per head. Usually goes to Malapascua at 7:00 A.M but could travel earlier depending on the number of people already in the port, it takes 30-45 minutes depending on weather.

Malapascua Island Day  02

Activity 1:      The cliff jumping. I didn’t jump. why ? My knees said “nooooo”.

                         My heart ranted “labdub” and my spirit said “cannnn’t” but my friend didn’t say “No”.

                         She jumped.

Activity 2:　　Skinny-dipping with friends. That was fun. Why not give yourself a fun crack.

Activity 3:　　Enjoy the beautiful water and view.

Activity 4:　　Enjoy with the natives and foreigners

All I plan for this place is to sit, sip some juice on a recliner, watch the beautiful and calm water,

read my favorite book and get ta

I wasn’t planning anything for this day
we went to the other side of the Island. Bantigue Cove.
we went through motorcycle which we paid PHP 20.00.
Still, I was able to get what I planned; I sat there, took photos, talked with my colleagues and relaxed.

In the evening, we had Margarita while sitting on a bean bag watching the beautiful sunset and at night,

we had disco. It was so fun!

Saddest part is the Goodbye! Going home!
